Aircraft flight speed test facility

This OTS designed facility launches an aircraft-simulating sled along a track at speeds up to 500kts (257m/s) to test ejected stores or interactions at flight speeds. The high turnaround rate provides a low cost solution to air speed environment testing at a fraction of the cost of aircraft operations.
