Kirkcudbright Training Area, Scotland
The tank firing ranges at Kirkcudbright allow for the following dynamic tests.
- A choice of firing points with ranges available from 100m to 3500m.
- Moving targets at ranges up to 2000m.
- Firing on the move can be carried out at static or at moving targets.
- Firing can also be carried out on the move from a figure of 8 circuit which incorporates rumble strips and enbankments.
Additionally there are static explosive firing ranges that allow for charges of up to 30kg.
