All proof work is conducted remotely and reported on in accordance with the customer approved proof schedule.
- Conduct the proof of guns, barrels, breech rings, breech blocks, obturators and other gun components to establish that they will safely withstand firing at the specified pressures.
- Conduct the firing of samples of ammunition to compare their performance with previously established criteria in order to accept lots or batches into service or for the next stage of production or to estimate their remaining service life.
- Test samples of experimental products to evaluate their performance and gather information to enable either the setting of acceptance parameters for production proof or the assessment of service life.
- Test explosive products to ascertain that they remain safe and do not fire under specified circumstances or conduct fully diagnosed trouble shooting to evaluate a product that is not performing to its acceptable specification.
